What's a birthday cake without sprinkles (AKA jimmies)?! At Jimmy Beans Wool we are partial to excess jimmies! For our 20th birthday, we are requesting funfetti everything because there is nothing like cutting into a cake and having a surprise of little specks of color!

This is why we love Woolfolk's new yarn, Fleck, because it reminds us of funfetti due to the little specks of colors throughout the skein!

We are march-ing in with some more birthday surprises this month! We've been loving our revisit to our original logo. When brainstorming what items we wanted to release for our 20th birthday, we thought, "How can we bring the celebration to the projects on our needles?"

Limited Edition Beans for Brains Colorway is Here!

As a company, we believe in the importance of giving back to our community. That is why in 2009 we launched the Beans for Brains college scholarship to support the education of student fiber artists!

To celebrate the return of the scholarship, we have a limited-edition Beans for Brains colorway of Madelinetosh Farm Twist!

This DK weight yarn features beautiful bright shades of pink, green, purple, and blue on a natural base, perfect for your springtime knits! For every skein purchased, 25% of the proceeds will be donated to the Beans for Brains scholarship fund.

Alex's Fine Line Sweater

It was love at first squish when our Bean, Alex, first felt La Aimee Merino DK yarn and she knew she had to get it on her needles right away (and we are so glad she did)! This striking form-fitting sweater designed by Lily Kate France has a vintage feel with a modern silhouette with gently puffed sleeves and a sleek ribbed body. Our jaws dropped when we saw Alex in the finished garment. It turned out so stunning we think Alex should make one in every color!
