This past week, our bay doors opened high, our warehouse became enveloped in sunshine, the UPS driver leaped from his trunk belting "I'm Walking on Sunshine" by Katrina & The Waves, and the Beans clutched each other as they jumped for joy. It was all happening... our massive shipment of La Bien Aimee had arrived!!

Okay, okay, so maybe it didn't happen exactly this way but we DID recently become the proud purveyor of Cashmerino, Merino DK, and Merino Singles!!!

You may remember that we first began to carry La Bien during our 2020 Pop Ups but within a few short weeks, you all had completely sold us out!

We've always been such a fan of Aimee's fibers (so much so that Jimmy even went to visit her back in 2019!) so when we got the opportunity to carry over twenty of their cherished colors, we jumped at the chance!!

We picked up three, scrumptious bases including:

Cashmerino is a super-soft blend of merino wool and cashmere with a splash of nylon for durability.

Available in a wide array of shades, this fingering-weight yarn is PERFECT for shawls and sweaters! Each skein comes with a generous 473 yards!

Merino DK, AKA the most beautifully bouncy yarn we've squished in a while!!

Each skein brings you 252 yards of 100% superwash merino yarn that's versatile in use, which makes it super easy to choose which yarn we want for our next adult sweater or baby blanket!

Merino Singles are made of super-soft, 100% Merino wool with a singly-ply construction.

Available in an array of gorgeous colors, this yarn has a lovely drape and beautiful stitch definition. Each fingering-weight skein holds 400 yards, making this yarn perfect for projects large and small - everything from mitts to shawls to sweaters!

Because our Eiffel Sweater and Eiffel Shawl were so popular just two years ago, we knew we had to bring them back - think of it as a way to get a taste of Paris on your needles! Each design was thoughtfully created by our Bean, Amy Gunderson with a little inspiration from France in all of them (pssst... you can see hints of the Eiffel Tower in each design!) C'est magnifique!

Rose All Day

Can we get a SHI-BU-YAH?! Because we're starting out the new year with a bang! To start 2022 off right, Shibui just released the Les Garcons + Shibui collection - a stunning mix of three new colors, Rose, Boreal, and Soiree, along with five new patterns ranging from mitts to pullovers! These three new shades are available in four of our favorite bases: Haven, Nest, Pebble, and Silk Cloud!

One of the things we love most about Shibui is that their color collections are always so cohesive! It makes mixing and matching a breeze and that goes for their yarns too! Their three new colors are no exception, coming together to create a perfect winter palette. Rose is a soft, muted pink, reminiscent of a solstice sunset. Sweater vests have officially come back into style (but did they ever leave?!). That is why we were so inVESTed in our Bean, Alex's, Sucession Vest knit with Shibui Knits yarn!! Designed by Britt-Marie Brehmer, this Chunky Cabled Vest was crafted using two stands of Nest and one strand of Silk Cloud.
