It's that time of the year again - time for us to lift the velvet rope and grant access to the new crop of clubs we have goin' on in the land of Jimmy Beans! 2022 is looking bright, and we're so excited to be able to jam all night with some delicious designs from some very talented creators! Jimmy Beans clubs are the perfect option for those of us who don't pre-plan our projects, want something always on our needles throughout the year, or maybe want to give ourselves a treat every month!

Running from January through December, The Jimmy Beans Wool 2022 Blanket Club features the unique hues of Urth Yarns! We're so excited to work with the one-of-a-kind, exclusive colorways they've dyed just for this club! Every month you will receive a full skein of Urth Yarns Monokrom Worsted, a digital pattern (knit or crochet), and a coordinating stitch marker!

Available in two gorgeous colorways, knit along to the directions of Marin Melchior (aka Marinjaknits) or sink your hook into the crochet pattern by Lee Sartori (aka Coco Crochet Lee)! This club ships out between the 10th and 15th of each month.

Please note that needles/hooks are not included. For the knit pattern, you'll need a very long US Size 7 (4.5 mm) needle - at least 40" long. For the crochet pattern, you'll need a US Size H-8 (5.0 mm) hook.

Are you a fan of Malabrigo yarns? If so, the Jimmy Beans Wool 2022 Malabrigo Shawl Club is for you! Using the squishy strings of Malabrigo Sock yarn, indulge in the gorgeous work by knit designer Afifa Sayeed (aka fifknits) or crochet designer Meghan Ballmer (aka Meghan Makes Do)! Each designer has put their best foot (er.. needle and hook?) forward to provide a gorgeous design that will stand the test of time.

Every month, you will receive a wound ball of Malabrigo Sock, a stitch marker from KT and the Squid, a digital pattern, and a special surprise every quarter (psst. the first surprise is a custom-colored della Q Maker's Canvas Knit Sack! This club ships out between the 25th and 30th of each month.

Please note that needles/hooks are not included. The knit project uses a size 6 (4.00 mm) 24" circular needle, and the crochet project uses a size G (4.00 mm) crochet hook.

Maybe you're more interested in smaller, bite-sized projects that you can finish up quickly. We can't blame you - that's why we have the Jimmy Beans Wool 2022 Accessory Club! Each month swap out the designer and pattern combo.

Fun for knitters and crocheters alike, each month will supply you with a digital pattern, the yarn needed to complete the project, and a fun notion! Perfect for getting ahead for the gift-giving season or stocking your own collection, the options with this club are limitless! This club ships out between the 15th and 20th of each month.

Please note that needles/hooks are not included. Yarn weights will vary from month to month to keep things fun, fresh, and interesting!

All club patterns this year are digital to help reduce our waste and footprint! Each club has the option for US customers to indulge in an ongoing monthly subscription (shipping included) or to pre-pay for the whole year! Each Jimmy Beans club arrives each month like a little gift you don't have to lift a finger to order - now that's easy!

Mohair is truly marvelous, it's the chef's kiss on any project! It makes us feel so soft, warm, and cozy! It's the perfect base for the upcoming cooler months.

Madelinetosh Impression is one of our favorite blends of mohair (we've caught some of the Beans taking their breaks and sitting in an aisle just squishing it), especially since it boasts an impressive 420 yards per skein!

Speaking of mohair, we're obsessed with the uber cute and cozy pullover, Magical Mohair by Lisa Renner (do you remember Rescue Endangered by Design?! She had a hand in creating that and she's the owner of Cashmere Company!). Using four different colors of Impression held together, this pullover features brioche rib edges and a stockinette body that lets the gorgeous yarn do most of the talking! It's knit seamlessly from the top down with a uniquely shaped yoke. This pattern is meant to fit with several inches of positive ease, as well.

But the magic (and fun!) part of this particular design is picking your hues! We suggest trying to choose a variety of different colors and color values. The soft halo of Impression blends the colors beautifully, it's hard to imagine a combo that wouldn't look amazing together (we can't wait to see what your color choices will be, cue heart eyes here!).

Each skein of Madelinetosh yarn is dyed by hand with love because we adore doing what we do. Experimenting with color is our bread and butter, but this means that each skein is unique in its own right, so when you order two or more skeins, we visually match them to make your job of making that much easier and stress-free!

We're On The Move!

The Beans have been moving, shaking, and hopping back and forth from our current building to our new one this past week (does that make us jumping Beans?! Ba-dum-bum!), packing up yarn, and breaking down racks. Our offices are all packed and are being unloaded in our new building at 891 Trademark Drive as we speak!

Our phones and shipping computers are still down but we anticipate them back up and running early next week. It's been a heck of a week but we're already seeing so much progress and we can't wait to give you a tour of the new space super, super soon!

For those who have placed orders after November 2nd, yours are first in line to be shipped once our systems are back. And for anyone interested in visiting our retail space, we look forward to opening our doors to the public next month!

Amy's Magical Mohair Pullover

Brrr! It's been a little chilly in the mornings here in Reno! We've had to pull all of our old sweaters from hibernation and bundle up! Our Bean, Amy, looked at the grey skies and thought to herself, "I'm gonna make a new sweater!". Using the ultra fuzzy and cozy Madelinetosh Impression yarn, Amy speed-knit the Magical Mohair Pullover by Lisa Renner! Creating her own colorway, she got to work knitting up a storm, holding her yarn together and carefully maintaining her tension, and we think she did a fabulous job!

Good news! The Magical Mohair Pullover is available as a kit on our site with Amy's colorway as an option!
