Wool, wool, wool, what do we have here!? New to Jimmy Beans Wool, we've nabbed the soft, supple strings of Woolfolk yarn! Each skein was fluffier than the next, which led to the biggest maker's problem of all: Which base do we get? Well, long story short, we couldn't pick just one, so we filled up our baskets and picked four bases - we totally don't have a yarn problem *wink, wink*!
Wolkfolk is also known for their ethical practices regarding their wool. Their innovative efforts and ideas have resulted in a sustainable product that preserves the distinctive qualities of the wool, which is sourced from the Patagonian Grasslands. The unique structure of their fibers takes dye with extreme vibrance and color depth no matter if it's a delicate fingering weight or a chunky, bulky weight. For each skein of yarn purchased, 1% of the proceeds go back into Ovis 21, which helps bridge the gap between sustainability and regeneration for the grasslands of South America.
A soft and lofty base, Far has an interesting chainette construction that adds a little bit of lift and air into your projects. This yarn is a worsted weight, offering 142 yards per skein of fabulously fleecy fibers. We do recommend being careful with this one, though, because squishing this skein is extremely addictive!
Bulky and lightweight? What!? No way! Woolfolk happily exclaimed, "Yes way!" and crafted the delightful Luft yarn! Durable and optimal to wear for all seasons, Luft is a soft, chainette tube of Pima cotton that's filled with a sumptuous merino fleece that feels gentle on the skin and has a slight halo of fluff without the mohair! Each skein has 109 yards of fuzzy fibers!

Acting as the sister yarn to Woolfolk's Tynd base, Sno is a beautiful two-toned yarn that plays with high and low contrast. Being a fingering weight, this yarn is perfect for a plethora of projects whether used alone or as a bridge to blend two solid colors! Each skein offers 223 yards for your needles and hooks to play with.
Tynd is a squishy, two-ply skein of yarn that pairs wonderfully with Sno! Made completely out of Woolfolk's 100% Ovis 21 Ultimate Merino wool, this yarn has the perfect blend of structure and drape, making it a stash staple! Like Sno, each skein of yarn has 223 yards to work with, feeling right at home in anyone's project bag!

All of Woolfolk's yarns come in a sophisticated color palette composed of yummy neutrals and vivid jewel tones, elevating your next project with the perfect blend of elegance and comfort!

The fiber arts community is a wonderful place filled with oodles of inspiration, gorgeous colors, and supportive peers. Brooke of Fully Spun started experimenting with techniques and color after listening to a podcast and has now found the perfect way to express herself!
Unafraid, Brooke loves to experiment with colors and how they interact with one another. By mixing and matching shades, she has found that her palettes are cohesive, and each new shade she creates has a special place in her heart!

Your Daily Dose of Fiber!
As makers, we pour a lot of our own love into our projects. Whether we are making for ourselves or for a loved one, we spare no expense in terms of effort! Each new project is a new experience, offering us a choose-your-own-adventure of sorts when we decide the design, color, and yarn type. Sometimes we feel confident, making a whole stole out of lace, but other times we just want to relax and make something just a little bit easier!
Berroco Sesame does just that! This blend of wool, acrylic, cotton, and nylon makes an interesting yarn to craft your next project out of! The combination of worsted weight, self-striping, and small doodads make this the ultimate... tweed-yourself yarn! Perfect for learning how to knit or crochet, Berroco Sesame offers a wonderful experience to make your first project one to remember while still remaining interesting during the whole journey!

Have you ever wanted to try your hand at macrame? The craft is so closely related to our own love of knitting and crocheting, and yet, it always seemed so far away. Gissell Leon makes learning macrame fun and accessible (with the added bonus of introducing some much needed greenery into our lives)! The Grow Yourself Kit comes with a 1 1/2" ring, 3mm twisted cotton rope, a terracotta pot to nestle into your creation, an emery board, and a packet of Handmaid for when you finish! Please note that this kit does not come with the plant.

We spend a lot of our time making things to wear and to gift to someone else, but do we ever pause and make sure we're happy, healthy, and relaxed? In the Pamper Yourself Kit, Julee Mackessy teaches us how to make reusable makeup removers with Blue Sky Organic Cotton yarn, which helps us reduce our own waste and learn how to crochet (for those of us who are not already hook-savvy, of course). She also gives us the scoop on how to make bath bombs, complete with the ingredients and mold to do so!
